David Lancaster was born February 17, 1953 in Peoria, IL the son of the late Curry and Ann Hornung Lancaster.
He was united in marriage to Shari Rowden on May 10, 1974.
Mr. Lancaster worked for several years at Colonial Bakery. He later worked for Midtown Tires in Selmer for over 10 years. He enjoyed working at the tire shop and talking with all the customers. He loved listening to Elvis Presley and even sung like Elvis. David was the heart of his family. His children and grandchildren were his world.
Mr. Lancaster departed this life on September 6, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 66 Years, 6 Months, 20 Days. He is survived by
his wife, Shari Lancaster of Bethel Springs, TN; a daughter, Lisa Perrigo and husband Tim of Selmer, TN; a son, Justin Lancaster of Nashville, TN and friend, Travis Danker of Nashville, TN; two grandchildren, Angelina and Kirabella Hampton; a sister, Katherine Davis of Peoria, IL; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lancaster was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lancaster; two half brothers, Jack and Carl Underhill.
