Mr. William “Bill” Thomas Griggs, age 76, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Griggs was born on October 31, 1942 in Marshall County to Evvie Otto Griggs & Edna Lee Burgett Griggs. He worked in the data department at NASA. He loved deer & turkey hunting, playing the guitar and tending to his garden.
He was a member of Mtn. View Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sister, Sylvia Griggs Billups; cousins, Charles Lynn Carter, Maxine Johnson, Elton Burgett, Glenda King, Jackie Griggs. Preceded in death by his parents, Evvie Otto Griggs & Edna Lee Burgett Griggs.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2019 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ken Tyler, officiating. Burial will be in Mtn. View Cemetery Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2019 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
