Funeral service for Elizabeth J. “Betty” Hall, age 89, of Harvest, will be Saturday, September 14, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at Queen of the Holy Rosary Church in Vienna, OH. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to mass. Interment will be in Vienna Township Cemetery. Mrs. Hall, who died Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at her residence, was born January 9, 1930, in Hartford, OH to Andrea and Annunziata Mariani. She was a 1948 graduate of Hartford High School. A lifelong member of Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, she sang in the choir for 10 years. She especially loved to sing, yodel, and play country music on her guitar. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ronald S. Hall; her parents; four brothers, Carmine, Domenic, Mike, and Steve; and three sisters, Mary Schultz, Teresa Masotte, and Marian Cook. During her final days Mrs. Hall wanted everyone to know that she was blessed to be under the loving care of her only daughter, Linda Walker, and her granddaughters, Alexis Walker-Story and Elizabeth Walker.

The quote by which she lived was: “I shall pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.”

She is survived by her son, Richard Hall, Sr. of Erie, PA; her daughter, Linda Walker of Harvest; two sisters, Sally Visocan and Rose Harrow; three precious grandchildren, Richard Hall, Jr. (Ashley), Alexis Walker-Story (Josh), and Elizabeth Walker; and six great-grandchildren, Kylee Ginnicks-Hall, Jolynn Hall, Abiney Story, Conner Story, Dane Story, and West Story.

Should you desire to show your sympathy or love with a floral tribute, the family respectfully requests a live plant which can be transplanted outside to bring smiles to all who pass by. In lieu of flowers, please donate your time and/or resources to your local hospice, or to Kindred Hospice of Madison County, AL.
