Lora Mae Hudson, age 104, of Hamilton, AL passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Sunset Manor in Guin AL. She was born in Hodges Alabama on Saturday, March 27, 1915 to George Baker and Verdie Sullivan Baker.
She was a member of Hamilton First Baptist Church, taught school at Winfield, Hamilton and Hodges also a wife and homemaker.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 11:30-1 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 1 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Sorrells officiating. Burial will be at Old Line Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Estes Hudson; parents, George & Verdie Baker; sisters, Hazel (J.C.) Hale, Mimerva (Arthur) Osborne, Mary (C.G.) Lawler; brothers, G.W. (Wilma) Baker, Jr., Daniel (Velma) Baker, John (Mavianea) Baker, Kenneth Baker.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sister, Mildred (R.J.) Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
