Mrs. Margaret Joseph Paxton “I will lift up my eyes to the hills, From whence my help” Psalms 121:1

Margaret J. Paxton “MeeMaw”, age 83 of Saltillo, TN passed peacefully from this life into eternity on August 28, 2019. She was born November 22, 1935 in Pensacola, Florida to the late William A. (Toney) and Maude M. Joseph. Margaret married the love of her life, Donald A. Paxton, on June 29, 1953. Margaret called Saltillo home, although she lived the greater part of her life in Pensacola, FL, where she held various secretarial jobs over the years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Donald A. Paxton. She is survived by her 4 children, Delecia (Ron) Parker, Jaudon (Bob) Pickering, Anthony (Karen) Paxton, and Douglas (Cassie) Paxton; grandchildren, James (Jill) Parker, Joseph (Michelle) Parker, William Pickering, and Hannah Pickering, Robin (Josh) Chase, Joey Brewer, Logan Christopher, Talon Christopher, and Gunner Paxton; great grandchildren, Joey Parker, Jeb Parker, and Daisy Brewer; 1 brother, Loring Joseph, of Pensacola, Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family visitation is 3-4 pm, general visitation is from 4-8 pm, August 30, 2019 at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill, TN. Services will be held at 2 PM, August 31, 2019 at First Baptist Church, Saltillo, TN with Rev. Tommy Crocker officiating. Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery, Saltillo, TN, immediately following services. Pafford Funeral Home is overseeing funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Gideon’s International.
The family would like to extend at special thank you to Nancy Jackson and all the staff at Adamsville Healthcare and Rehab.
