Elsie Lorine Taylor, 91, died Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Southern Magnolia Estates, Golden, MS. She was born in Red Bay, AL and worked at Wrangler for over forty years.  She was a member of Red Bay Free Will Baptist Church.

Services will be Thursday, August 29, 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Steve Lindsay and Bro. Ray Burks officiating. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by four children – James Taylor (Karen) Lawrenceville, GA, Bobby Taylor (Belinda) Belmont, MS, Jackie Credille (Stanley) Red Bay, AL and Mary Pendegraph Holland (Gary) Southaven, MS; ten grandchildren – Chuck Hall, Tammy Hill, Carla Hawkins, Brittany Taylor, Kristina Taylor, Alexandria Taylor, Jamie Green, Nikki Stacy, Amber Williams and Kelsey Taylor; seventeen great-grandchildren – Peyton Green, Hanna-Grace Green, Haven Stacy, Luke Stacy, Hunter Hill, Haley Hill, Allie Taylor, Karley Taylor, Caty Hawkins, Aubrey Dodson, Caroline Smith, Cadence Smith, Caleb Williams, Bethany Williams, Seth Williams, Bethany Mansell and Joshua Rogers; one sister – Edith Scoby, Arnold, MO and a daughter-in-law – Eloise Hall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie L. “Cork” Taylor, a son, Charles A. Hall, two brothers, R.C. Umfress and R.B. Umfress, one sister, Eula Mae Pace, one granddaughter, Vickie Rogers, one great-granddaughter, Addison Mae Hall, a daughter-in-law, Jacquline Byram Taylor and a son-in-law, Thomas Pendegraph.

Pallbearers will be Josh Stacy, James Brazzel, Josh Smith, Shane Hill, Hunter Hill and Peyton Green.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 28, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
