Vernice Comeens Franks, age 95 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away Friday, August 23, 2019. She was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Monday, August 26, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. The funeral service will be Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Chris Brannon and Jesse Franks officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery.

Ms. Franks is survived by her children, Pat Owsley, Brenda (Larry) Pace, Jean (Elvis) Scogin, Connie Chapman and Donnie (Nelda) Franks; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Eliza Jane Comeens; husband, Arvlee Franks; siblings, Pearlie Perry, Pernie Tittle and Harlie Comeens; 2 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
