Services for James Archie Starnes, 75 of Corinth are set for Friday, August 23, 2019 at 2:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment in Holly Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 5:00pm-7:00pm and Friday, August 21, 2019 from 1:00pm until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Born July 24, 1944 in Memphis, TN., James passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at his home in Corinth. He was of the Christian faith and a retired Aero Maintenance Technician for the U.S. Postal Service. James is survived by his wife , Glenda Hagen of Corinth; sons, James Archie Starnes, Jr. of Ocean Springs, MS, Archie William Starnes of Rienzi and Buddy Starnes of Dixon, TN; daughter, Ramona Turner of Washington; 12 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Daily Starnes and wife Kay of Corinth and Ricky Starnes of Corinth; sister, Sandra Kay Vincent of Corinth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Archie Wilson Starnes; mother, Hazel Powers Starnes and his sisters, Linda Jane Highland and Debbie Strange. Bro. Warren Jones will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Buddy Starnes, Dylan Starnes, Dakota Starnes, Dustin Wilson, Doug Starnes and James Hagen. Honorary pallbearer will be Ricky Starnes. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. James Archie Starnes.
