Kenneth Allen Woods 75, of Prospect,TN died Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at his residence.
Born Wednesday, June 28, 1944 in Athens, AL, he was the son of Ed Woods and Willie Ruth (Lee) Woods.
Mr. Woods liked to fish and hunt, was a billards player and jack of all trades. He loved to take Tim hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Pam Richardson; granddaughter, Franchesca Powell; sister, Terri Counts; and brothers, Bill, Bobby, Buddy, Dewight and Larry Woods.
He is survived by his wife, Paulette Woods, Prospect, TN; sons, Tim (Jerri) Woods, Prospect, TN, Kenny Lee Byrd, Georgia, and Mike (April) Woods, Ardmore, AL; daughters, Connie (Anthony) Long, Toney, AL, Melissa (Marion) Thatcher, IN; grandchildren, Heather Moore, Toney, AL, A.J. (Deanna) Long, Taft, TN, Tiffany (Brandon) Hughes, Goodspring, TN, Jerry Allen (Jessica) Long, Taft, TN, Haley (Zane) Hambay, Minor Hill, TN, Candy Richardson,
Athens, AL, Brandon (Paige) Richardson, Elkmont, AL, Hannah Kay Byrd, GA, John Thatcher, IN, Jessie & Jackson Woods, Ardmore, AL; sisters, Betty Chase, CA, Kay Martinez, IN; several great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL at 2:00 PM with Bro. Dale Mitchell officiating.
