Gordon Edward “Buddy” Atchley 88, of Ardmore,TN died Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Pulaski, Pulaski, Tennessee

Born Saturday, December 20, 1930 in Paint Rock, AL, he was the son of the late Harvey Edward Atchley and Eula Mae Toney Atchley.he was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Sunbeam Electric Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elizabeth Atchley; daughter, Sherry Sokolowski; grandson, Jermey Sokolowski; brother, Loyd Atchley,
He is survived by his daughters, Kim (Ray) Wilbourn, Gurley, AL, Meshia (Daniel) Atchley- DeCosta, Ardmore, AL, Mary (Joe Anthony) Lukesh,Toney, AL; brother, David Atchley, Ardmore, AL, sisters, Vera Mae (Rufus) Pyle, Gurley, AL, Era Gay Bradley, Toney, AL; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and three companions, Toto, Tiger and Charlie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 1:00 PM with Pastor Linda Claunch and Ray Wilbourn officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery, Toney, AL.
Serving as Pallbearers for Buddy Atchley will be Austin Miller, Brady Miller, Gannon Sokolowski, Joe Athony, Garrett Atchley and Logan Atchley.
