William Michael White, 60, of Huntsville, passed from this life into eternity after a year long battle with cancer. Born in Huntsville, Alabama to William B. White and Dorothy Thurman White, Mike graduated from S.R. Butler High School in 1978. Mike served in the U.S. Navy.
Mike was a talented musician. Throughout his life, he enjoyed singing, listening to music, and playing the trumpet and guitar. Mike was honored to play Taps as a service to other veterans.
Survivors include his father, William B. White; sisters, Carol McAllister (Joe), Daphne Tidmore (Richard), and Sue Clark (Joel), all of Huntsville; nieces, Kelsey Lynn Clark, Gabrielle George, Faith Tidmore, and Sissy McAllister Lopez; and nephews, Will Clark McAllister and Brett Alan Clark. Mike was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy White; stepmother, Opal H. White; sister, Debra Lynn Agnew; and brother-in-law, Joe McAllister.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18th, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Travis Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. (www.laughlinservice.com)
