Charles “Duck” Eugene Claunch 54, of Ardmore,AL died Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, Alabama.

Born Wednesday, January 6, 1965 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of Thomas James Claunch and Mary Magdeline Claunch.

He was a volunteer firefighter & chief at Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department for 8 years and also a volunteer firefighter for Ardmore Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Pentacostal Church of Ardmore.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Phillip Claunch.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Claunch, Ardmore, AL, sons, Devin (Kim) Claunch, Ardmore, AL and Brady (Sydney) Hoskins, Ardmore, AL; daughters, Laken (Brandon) Renegar, Ardmore, AL and Jordi Claunch Tyler, Ardmore, AL; brothers, Glenn Claunch, Macon, GA and Donnie Claunch, WA; sisters, Doris Bell, Toney, AL, Yvonne Colwell, Athens, AL, and Fay Reyer, Hammond, IN; grandchildren, Brilee Campbell, Abby Claunch, Kaylea Renegar,
Nathan Claunch, Bryson Renegar, Charlie Claunch, Caleb Hoskins, Adelina Hoskiins, Landon Hoskins, Anika McKinley and Carley King.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 3:00 PM with Bro. Allen Gandy officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
