Osa Monetta White EllisonMrs. Osa Monetta White Ellison was born July 18, 1932 in Waynesboro, TN to the union of the late Will Edward and Osa Eula Adkinsson White. She was united in marriage to J.T. Ellison on February 14, 1954. Mr. Ellison preceded her in death on March 15, 1999. Mrs. Ellison was a Head Cashier at Kroger and a member of the Ypsilanti Church of Christ in Michigan and a member of the Phillips Chapel Community Church in Waynesboro. Mrs. Ellison departed this life on August 11, 2019 in Waynesboro, Tennessee making her stay in this like some 87 Years and 24 Days.

She is survived by a son, Curtis Mitchell Ellison and wife Angie of Waynesboro, TN; a daughter, Martha Heimerdinger of Canadian Lakes, MI; a brother, Dan Gordon White and wife Diane of Waynesboro, TN; four grandchildren, Melissa Gladwin and husband Luke of Seymor, TN, Keith Mullins and wife Tonya of Cedar Springs, MI, Melinda Dugger and husband Randle of Clifton, TN, Elizabeth Heimerdinger and fiancé Jaime of Britton, MI; eight great grandchildren, Zach Callow and wife Brianna of Chelsea, AL, Courtney and Jacob Callow both of Seymor, TN, Nathan and Ryan Mullins both of Cedar Springs, MI, Ragan and Braden Coker both of Clifton, TN, and Carter Sullivan of Britton, MI, two great great grandchildren, Luca and Asher Callow. She is also survived by four step-grandchildren, Brian, Holly, Heather, and Heidi Heimerdinger all of Clinton, MI.

In addition to her husband of 45 years and her parents, Mrs. Ellison was preceded in death by her grandparents Tom and Mary P. Adkinson and Jimmy D. and Sally Irvin White, a daughter, Janice Mullins; six brothers, Jay T White, William D White, Iley White, Junior White, Joel White, Loyd White; five sisters, Susie Brown, Azlee Stanfield, Marie Pope, Waymon Moser, Lorean White; a grandchild, Jeremy Mullins; and a son-in-law Barry Heimerdinger.

Services will be held on August 14, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Waynesboro in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Ronnie Pope, John Blackwell and Luke Gladwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Waynesboro, Tennessee

Visitation will be held on August 13, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Wednesday August 14, 2019 from 11:00 am until service time at 3:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN.

Pallbearers will include: Tim White, Allen White, Danny White, David White, Tommy White, and N.J. Pope.
