Crossville Woman Dies In Single-Vehicle Accident

GADSDEN-On Tuesday, August 13 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency issed a statement concerning the death of one person involved in a single-vehicle accident that occurred on Monday:

“A single-vehicle crash at 5:20 p.m. Monday, August 12, has claimed the life of a Crossville woman.

Brittany Michelle Cantrell, 19, was killed when the 1999 Honda Accord she was driving left the roadway on U.S. 431 and overturned. Cantrell, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was seriously injured and transported to UAB Hospital where she later died.

The crash occurred two miles west of Gadsden. Nothing further is available as ALEA State Troopers continue to investigate.”
