Funeral services for Michael Keith Carpenter, 61 of Burnsville, MS is set for Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 11:00am at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment in Burnsville City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 10:00am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Born December 11, 1957 in Corinth, MS., Michael passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was of the Christian faith and a retired brick mason. Michael is survived by his wife, Loretta Strickland Carpenter of Leedy, MS; son, Preston Carpenter of Leedy, MS; daughter, Hope Brown (Shawn) of Leedy, MS; grandchildren, Austin Brown, Alisha Brown and Amberly Brown; brothers, Gary Mincy of Burnsville, Ricky Mincy of Burnsville and Randy Mincy (Lisa) of Burnsville; sisters, Connie Carpenter Sanders (Jeff) of Michie, TN, Judy Brooks of Corinth, Tabitha Pace of Burnsville, MS; uncle, Donald Meyers of Fulton, MS; nieces and nephews, Natasha Daniel (Eric), Keelee Mincy and Keegan Mincy; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father,Toy Carpenter; mother, Doris Mincy; sister, Shirley Carpenter Rye and his maternal grandparents, Joe and Viola Meyers. Rev. Jimmy Rich will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Ricky Mincy, Gary Micy, Randy Mincy, A. C. Morgan, Jeff Clark and Bubba Carpenter.
