Funeral services for Mrs. Martha McDaniel Elvington, age 83, are scheduled for 3 pm Sunday, August 11, 2019 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery in Jackson. Mrs. Elvington passed away early Friday in Lexington. She was born January 30, 1936 in Jackson to the late William Eugene and Jeanetta Moling Earp. She was a janitor at Southside School and loved playing musical instruments and going to church. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Mr. John McDaniel and Mr. Troy Elvington; one daughter, Donna McDaniel; one sister, Virginia Lee Dotray; and one grandchild. Survivors include her son, John William McDaniel; four daughters, Darline Lovett (the late Gary), Shelia James, Alma Dean Zimmerman (Dewayne), and Melanie Lewis (John T.); seven grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren
