TUSCUMBIA-The kids are back in school, August is well underway and there is a lot going on at the Tennessee Valley Art Association Below, take a look at some of what’s happening around the TVAA the rest of this month.

Applied to painting, the term “en plein air” refers to painting that is conducted outside, in the fresh (or plain!) air. In this workshop, artist Katie Graham will guide beginning and intermediate artists through a series of exercises “en plein air,” designed to make the most of the lush summer landscape and leave participants with newly acquired skills, a beautiful piece of self-expression, and an experience to remember.
