FLORENCE-On Tuesday, August 6 the Florence Police Department issued a statement asking the public for any information they might have in locating a missing person:
“We are currently looking for a missing person, 66-year-old white male, James Whitaker.
He was last seen on July 23rd leaving his home on his motorcycle, Blue 2015 Harley-Davidson Softail. Mr. Whitaker is 5’06” approximately 220 lbs.
If anyone has any information about him, they are asked to call Florence Police at 256-760-6610 or their local law enforcement. Texting FPDTIP plus your tip to 274637.”
