Lynda Faye Cribbs Looney 81 of Athens passed away Saturday August 3, 2019 at her residence. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday August 6, 2019 at 3PM at McConnell Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 1-2:45 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. She was born September 4, 1937 to Beynard and Marie Ezell Cribbs. Mrs. Looney is preceded in death by her parents, husband Armon Albert Looney, one sister Judy Gayle Patterson. She was of the Methodist Faith, Loved being with her family and friends, riding around in the country, she and her sister loved going to where they was born in Stinnett Hollow. She is survived by son Michael Albert Looney of Athens, AL, daughter Karen Renee Looney of Athens ,AL, sisters Barbara Grace Vinson of Pensacola, FL. Pallbearers will be Bryan Patterson, Jacob Patterson, Roger Patterson, Daniel Boruch, Joel Pepper, and Terry Griffin.
