Byron Douglas Romine, age 47 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Vanderbilt after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born February 19, 1972 in Madison County to Douglas Romine and Robbie Legg Romine.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. with Carl Witty officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 until 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Preceded in death by his parents and two nieces.
He is survived by his wife, Leigh Ann Bailey Romine; son, William Layton Romine; daughter, Anna Leigh Romine; sisters, Pat Pyron (Morris), Vickie Patterson, Dianne Owens, Beverly Fowler and Angela Brackeen (Jeff); several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael Pyron, Trevor Patterson, Jeff Brackeen, Chad Owens, Andrew Brackeen and Jayme Owens.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
