Kenneth Ray McVay, 63, of Tishomingo, MS, died on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. Kenneth was an avid deer hunter, he enjoyed farming, and stone masonry. He was part of the Booneville Fire Department for 15 years where he served as Lieutenant. He also was formerly employed with Jesco. He is survived by his wife, Anita McVay; his daughters, Cindy Pounders (Jonathan); Stephanie Moncrief (Cody); and Megan Bridges (Allen); his sisters, Hilda McDougal (Jimmy); Judy Deaton (Claude); and Vanda Davis; his grandchildren, Logan; Preston; Ayden; Easton; Addison; and Lilly Grace; and a great granddaughter, Harmony. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothy McVay; his brother, Ronald McVay; and a grandson, Rod Thomas. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. A memorial service will be held Saturday August 3, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. by Bro. Hal Holt. Honorary pallbearers include Mr. McVay’s sons-in-law and his grandsons.
