SHEFFIELD-On Saturday evening Peanutt Montgomery, who has written over 73 songs for George Jones as well as other recording artists along with his wife Charlene, who wrote a biography of George Jones hosted a Handy Party with songwriter Agnes Wilson. Wilson hales from Tremont, Mississippi and was a close friend to Tammy Wynett. Agnes Wilson wrote songs for Wynette and several other recording artists from George Jones to Stella Parton.
Peanutt and Agnes performed some of the songs they have written over the years and give a little history and a few stories to the crowd who came to listen.
