Eloise Conley 88, of Ardmore,AL died Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Limestone Health and Rehab, Athens, Alabama.
Born Thursday, April 30, 1931 in Crossville, AL, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Beulah McDonald Brooks. At 15 years old she moved to Chickamauga, Ga but moved back later and has lived in the Ardmore area the past 31 years. She was a member of the Ardmore Assemblys of God Church. She loved church and being a ministers wife and talking with people.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Eldon Junior McBrayer; brother, Carl Brooks; sister, Louise Broadrick,
She is survived by her husband, Amos Conley, Ardmore, AL; Sons, Douglas Eldon (Cindy) McBrayer, Boaz, AL, and Douglas Amos (Becky) Conley, Toney, AL; daughters, Beverly Pryor, Fort Oglethorpe, GA, Libby (Ronnie) Taylor , Chickamauga, GA, Ramona (Wayne) Elkins, Albertville, AL Gladys (Johnny) Nunn, Ardmore, AL, Gloria (Rod) Carter, North Manchester, IN; brother, Bob (Sylvia) Brooks, Chickamauga, GA; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 29, 2019 at Chickamauga Cemetery, Chickamauga, GA, at 1:00 PM with Bro. Amos Conley and Ron Taylor officiating.
