Bruce A. Cosman 74, of Ardmore, AL died Thursday, July 18, 2019 in Ardmore, Alabama.
Born Wednesday, September 20, 1944 in Newburgh, NY, he was the son of Burton Cecil Cosman and Pauline Wilcox Cosman.
Bruce graduated from Newburgh Free Academy, Newburgh, NY, attended the State University of Delhi, NY where he got an associates degree in agriculture, attended Word of Life Bible Institute of Schroon Lake, NY and the Philadelphia Bible College. He loved the Lord, his pastor, church, his family more than anything, farming, woodworking, fishing, gospel music, and especially his grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Burton Cosman and David Cosman; and one sister, Ruthann Deyo.
He is survived by his wife,Ruth D. Cosman, Elkmont, AL; sons, Cecil Parke Cosman, Hutto, TX, and Aaron B. (Tiffany) Cosman, Marrero, LA; daughter, Tammy L. (John) Magnusson, Elkmont, AL; brother, Peter (Roseanne) Cosman, Casper, WY; grandsons, John Harvey Magnusson, Parker Cosman, Owen Cosman, Myles Cosman, and Luke Cosman; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 2:00 pm Elkton Baptist Church, Elkton, TN with Bro. Chris Bolt, Pastor officiating. A fellowship with the family will be held afterwards in the church Fellowship Hall.
