Margaret “Susie” Bryant, 62, passed away Monday July 22, 2019 from an extended illness. She was a Homemaker, a Van Buren County native and a resident of the Bone Cave Community. Susie was born March 26, 1957 to the late J. T. and Dortha Mae Baker Hankins.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by brother; Joe Thomas Hankins, sister; Iva Jean Tobitt.
Susie is survived by her loving husband Truman Bryant, daughters; Billie Jean (Michael) Koon of Cookeville and Jessica Grissom of Spencer, sisters; Melba Sullivan, Willene (Jr.) Bayless, Ann (James) Banker and Marie Northcutt all of Spencer, grandchildren; Toni Sullivan, Julie Steward, Katie and Ethan Koon, Tyzie, Nakia, Dallin and Corlie Grissom.
Funeral services will be Wednesday July 24, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Layne Spencer Chapel with Bro. R. C. Christian and Bro. Gene Brock officiating. Burial will follow at Laurel Creek Cemetery. Visitation times are Tuesday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and Wednesday 10:00am till time of service.
