The time comes when those whom we have loved the longest and the best will travel into a place of serenity and rest. Thursday, July 18, 2019, James Lowell “Lucky” Starr Jr. found peace and comfort in the tender embrace of his Lord. Lowell’s most memorable and happy times were spending time with his family and friends. His favorite hobby was fishing. He loved spending time with all the kids, teaching them fishing, hunting, driving, and how to build things. There were so many things he taught everyone without them even knowing; such as how to love, being slow to anger, patience, and forgiving all things. Everyone who met him loved him. He will be remember for all the times he made such a difference in the lives of others, his sweet smile, and his loving heart.
Pallbearers will be David Starr, Guy Holloway Jr., Greg Holloway, Jerrold Heath Holloway, Kevin Bradley, and Ricky Bradley. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Starr and Lonnie Starr.  Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is honored to assist the family.
