Mr. James Dwight Cobb, age 65, of Lacey Springs, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Cobb was born in Morgan County on November 11, 1953 to Thomas Berford Cobb & Mary Virginia Lawrence Cobb. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was a talented craftsman and mechanic and enjoyed Nascar races.
Mr. Cobb is survived by his wife of 18 years, Sherry F. Cobb; son & daughter-in-law, Donald Joe Esslinger, Jr. & Stephanie; daughter & son-in-law, Ashley Bennett & James; grandchildren, Tristan Cobb, Trevor Cobb, Tanner Cobb, Monica Esslinger, Peyton Bennett, Logan Bennett, McKinzie Esslinger & Chase Esslinger; brother & sister-in-law, Tommy Cobb & Venita; sisters & brother-in-law, Deloris Saint, Ann Lemley & Jimmy, daughter-in-law, Heather Cobb. Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Berford Cobb & Mary Virginia Lawrence Cobb; son, Kevin Shawn Cobb.
Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2019 at Lazy G. Wedding Chapel; 3591 Green Briar Cove Road, Union Grove, Al. 35175 with Gene Bishop & Tommy Cobb, officiating. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisting the family.
