Larry Evans Attaway, 62, died Saturday, July 6, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Alabama and married June Paden on July 12, 1975. He was a member of First Baptist Church Vina, AL and worked for Asplundh tree service for thirty-eight years.
Services will be Tuesday, July 9, 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, ALwith Bro. Ray Kirk officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of almost forty-four years- June Attaway; a daughter- Donirea Blackburn (Jerry); a son- Derek Attaway (Shannon), two sisters- Kim Lindsey (Karen) and Michelle Attaway; one brother- Herb Attaway; four grandchildren- Marley Timms (Tee Jay), Josh Wilson, Kyler Blackburn and Kaley Attaway and two nieces- Jessica Perkins and Jacqlyn Perkins.
He was preceded in death by his mother- Bertha Massey Lindsey; his father- Herbert Evans Attaway and two brothers- Terry and Barry Attaway.
Pallbearers will be Kyler Blackburn, Josh Wilson, Kent Moore, Josh Young, Zach Young and Chris Bolden. Honorary Pallbearers will be Derek Attaway and Jerry Blackburn.
Visitation will be Monday, July 8, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al.
