Carolyn V. Hargett, 78, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born June 23, 1941 to the late Leaburn Pierce and the late Frankie Massengale Pierce in the Turon Community. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, reading, working outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday July 10, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday July 9, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home.

She is survived by 3 Sons, Mike (Tammy) Hood of Smithville, Tony (Lynn) Grady of Golden, and Todd Grady of Tremont, 1 Daughter, Stephanie Dawson of Tremont, Grandschildren, Michael (Lori) Hood of Mooreville, Alan (Jackie) Gardy of Denver, CO, Lee (Erin) Grady of Saltillo, Amanda (Robbie) Maxey of Saltillo, step children, Jamie Hargett of Fulton, and Cindy Kitchens of Tupelo, 6 great grandchildren, 1 Sister, Linda Webb of Tremont, and a special friend, Linda Cayson of Tremont.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Michael Hood, Alan Gardy, Lee Grady, Robbie Maxey, and Hayden Hood.
