Mr. Kenneth Lightfoot
November 29, 1960 – June 24, 2019

Kenneth Lightfoot was born November 29, 1960 in Huntsville, Alabama to loving parents Milton T. Lightfoot and Marie Barnard-Lightfoot.

Kenneth excepted Christ at a very young age and held on to his faith until Jesus came to carry him to his heavenly home. In 1978 Kenny graduated from Pontiac Northern High School and joined the U.S. Navy shortly after graduation; he trained and worked as a computer engineer in the military. After completing his career in the U.S. Navy, he furthered his education in San Francisco, California at an Electrical and Electronic School. He was a successful entrepreneur operating a thriving computer engineering business “Up and Running”.

Kenny was a kind spirit who wore his heart on his sleeve; he cherished family and friends. The love of his life was his son Kenneth Jordan Lightfoot; he adored being KJ’s father and always wanted the best for his main man. Kenny loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. Everyone who truly knew him, knew that he had the Cleanest Clothing and Shoe Game in California; he got that from his DAD…LOL. He was a lover of music, but jazz captivated his heart like no other music could. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate Kenneth Lightfoot’s journey, and continue to honor the life of a wonderful man. Rest Peacefully in Love “Klu”. until we meet again.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory, a loving wife Alvina Cole-Lightfoot, of Richmond, California. His only son that he loved and adored, Kenneth Jordan Lightfoot (KJ’s mother Jacquelyn Random) of Richmond, California. His loving mother Marie Barnard Lightfoot of Pontiac, Michigan. A loving and devoted father Milton, a loving and super devoted bonus mother(Gracie) Lightfoot of Huntsville, Alabama. His dedicated and protective brother Billy(Mary) Lightfoot of Houston, Texas. His fun loving sister Tonya Lightfoot of Lewisburg, Tennessee. His step-children Teaundre Matthews and Ariana Reynolds of Vacaville, and Richmond, California. His in-laws Odell and Lauren Thompson of Richmond, California. His loving, caring, and devoted cousin’s Richard Banard of Atlanta, GA and Glenn Farris of Pontiac, MI., and a host of aunts, uncle, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Graveside service was held Monday, July 1, 2019 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (2540 Church Lane, San Pablo, CA 94806) with Wilson & Kratzer Mortuary of Richmond, CA directing.
