FLORENCE-On Monday, July 8 the Florence Police Department issued press release concerning a robbery that took place on Sunday, July 7. They are asking anyone with information to contact them:
“Robbery on July 07, 2019 in Florence Alabama
We are working on a robbery that occurred last night at 9:20 PM. The robbery took place at 1441 Huntsville Rd, The Package Store. The offender entered the business with a weapon and robbed the cashier after asking to make a purchase. We are currently looking for a white male, 5’10” – 6’00”, 180-200 lbs. No other information is available currently; this is still an active investigation.
