Obituary of Paula Annetta LivingstonPaula Annetta Livingston, of Decatur, passed away on July 3, 2019. Her visitation will be on Sunday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be on Monday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Bro. Donald Blevins is officiating. Paula was born on July 2, 1952 in Decatur, Alabama to Paul Wedsel Roberson, and Myrtle Lee Holland of Decatur. She was the first born of 3 daughters, and was taught from a very early age to watch and protect her younger siblings. This nurturing carried on through her entire life, and led her to a career in teaching, a career that spanned over 26 years. Paula met and married her true love, Fred William “Bill” Livingston of Decatur. Tragically, she lost Bill unexpectedly in 2010. But Paula just shared even more of the love she had with her family, and even more importantly, with her students at the head start program who she loved so much. There was also a very special place in her heart for two “ fur babies, Piper and Rascal. Paula is survived by her sister and her family. Deborah Leigh Kelly and her husband Terry Lee Kelly; their children, Misty Michele Kelly, and her son Jordan Blake Long; Brandy Leigh Kelly Lyons, and her husband Michael Lyons, and their son, Zachery, all of Falkville. Also, Robert Jason Cooper and his sons TJ Nolan, and Robert B. Seidler. Roselawn funeral home is assisting the family.
