Sandra L. Walker of Selmer, Tennessee Sandra L. Walker was born January 28, 1942 in Boaz, AL the daughter of the late Arlie Alan and Blondine Hamby Lacey.

She was united in marriage to Clarence (Toby) Walker on May 13, 1960. Mr. Walker preceded her in death on December 10, 2018.

Mrs. Walker was an avid flower gardener who so graciously shared her flowers with neighbors and friends. There are many yards all over McNairy County with flowers that started from her flower beds. She was a wonderful cook, seamstress and a loyal fan of the Auburn Tigers. She supported the Republican party both nationally and locally, serving as campaign manager for two candidates.

Mrs. Walker’s favorite time of the year was the Christmas season. She loved decorating the house and shopping for her family.

Mrs. Walker departed this life on July 6, 2019 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 77 Years, 5 Months, 8 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Whitley and husband Mark of Selmer, TN, Kimberly Ballard of Selmer, TN; two sons, Douglas Walker and wife Kim of Nashville, TN, Jason Walker and wife Mollie of Germantown, TN; a sister, Jennie Hix of Boaz, AL; a brother, David Lacey of Boaz, AL; 11 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by two sisters, Sherry Holley, Leisa Johnson; a brother, Kyle Lacey.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
