Mary Louise Lockard MiklicMary Louise Lockard Miklic, 96 of Huntsville passed away on July 3, 2019. She was born in Larkinsville, Alabama on October 27, 1922 and was the 5th of eight children born to James Taylor Lockard and Sarah Ellen Woosley. She enjoyed a long career as a U.S. Army civilian beginning as a clerk typist on Redstone Arsenal during World War II and retiring as a GS-12 after 30 years of service. She was devoted to her family and her faith, and was active in volunteering at St. Mary’s Church of the Visitation and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. She doted on her many beloved nieces and nephews long before she married John Anthony Miklic, Jr. in June 1964 and became a mother herself.

She is survived by her only daughter, Anna Marie Curenton (Glenn) and her grandson, Bradley Whitehorn.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 5th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with a vigil service at 6:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 6th, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s of the Visitation Church. Burial will be a Maple Hill Cemet
