Flora Anne Fowler, 96, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday June 30, 2019. Visitation and funeral will be on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Visitation at 10AM, Funeral Service will begin at 11AM in the chapel of the funeral home and will be officiated by Minister Benny Sivley. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Flora was born on Sept. 15, 1922 to parents, Joe Lewis and Tassie Smith Lewis. Flora passed on to her children, grandchildren great-grandchildren and great, great grandchildren thru the years, the baton of Faith and Love of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that she received from her mother. This is a heritage that we are all aware of and treasure above all else. She was a member of Decatur Baptist Church and The church Literary Group. She loved her church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 5 siblings and 2 daughters, Deborah Fowler Thalgott and Teresa Fowler Dexter. Flora is survived by 3 daughters, Darlene Hill, Linda Wrigley and Lori (Mike) Parks and 1 son Michael (Shelia) Fowler, also a sister, Edith Lauderdale and 2 son-in-laws. She also leaves 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 16 great, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
