FLORENCE- The Florence Police Department has issued an update on the shooting which occurred shortly after midnight on July 2, 2019, in the 100 block of Marengo St. in Florence where one victim was injured:
“The following is a brief update on the shooting from 07-02-19:
The injured party is Devin Starnes, a 20 year old male. Mr. Starnes is in critical (stable) condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The other involved party is a 69 year old male.
Following the completion of our investigation, all findings will be turned over to the Lauderdale County District Attorney for his consideration.”
