Pansy McKinney, 70, died Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born in Alabama and was a homemaker.
Services will be Thursday, July 4, 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Loyd Ray Griffus and Bro. J.C. Blackburn officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are her grandkids – Gregory Blanton and A.J. Blanton; one sister – Clara Faye Holland (R.V.); two nieces – Sandra Shaw (Ken) and Sherry Owens; one nephew– Robert Holland (Chrissy); great-nieces and nephews – Kim Brown (Matt), Craig Young (Maggie), Kristi Hall (Jonathan), Sonya Red (Chad) and Kanah Johnson (Gavin) and a host of great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston McKinney, her parents, Lois and Ruby Burks and her godson, Michael Blanton.
Pallbearers will be Robert Holland, Gavin Johnson, Jonathan Hall, Matt Brown, Chad Red and Craig Young.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 3, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
