Mr. Coy “Biggen” Jones, 78, of Simpson Street, Boaz, Alabama died Monday, July 1, 2019 at his residence.
A funeral service will be Thursday, July 4, 2019 at two o’clock p.m. in the chapel of McRae Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Bro. James Jones, Bro. Matt Smith and Bro, Garry Ford will be officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones was born in Alabama on September 30, 1940 to Tamer & Vada Handcock Jones. He was a retired dispatcher with Tyson.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife: Clara Jones of Boaz, Sons & Daughters-in-Law: James & Darla Jones and Stephen & Helen Jones all of Boaz, Daughter: Linda Brackett of Boaz, 8 Grandchildren 8 Great Grandchildren, Brothers & Sister-in-Law: Kenneth Jones and Carl & Cynthia Jones all of Boaz, Sisters & Brother-in-Law: Emeline & George Garner, Jannie Estes and Willine Banister. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Tamer & Vada Jones and Great Granddaughter: Kaelyn Jones.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons: Justin Feemster, Jarod Jones, Matt Jones, Casey Jones, Jacob Brackett and Noah Brackett. Honorary Pallbearers will be Granddaughters: Ashley Jones and Kayla McCollum.
