MONTGOMERY-Alabama is truly a beautiful and spectacular place! From the mountains of North Alabama through the Montgomery River Region to the coast and everywhere in between, the opportunities for award-winning photography are abundant. Outdoor Alabama would like to recognize the breathtaking images captured in Alabama. The Outdoor Alabama Photo Contest is now accepting entries through October 31, 2019. The contest is a joint project between the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the Alabama Tourism Department and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The complete list, which includes Eufaula and Wheeler Refuges, is found atwww.fws.gov/refuges/refugeLocatorMaps/Alabama.html.
