Funeral services for Mr. Sammy Wheeler, age 88, are scheduled for 5:00 pm Sunday, June 30, 2019 in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with graveside services to follow Monday 4:00pm at Huntsville Memory Gardens, Huntsville, Alabama. Mr. Wheeler passed away early Saturday at his home in Toney, Al. He was born December 9, 1930 in Henderson County to the late Benjamin Howard Wheeler and Bertie Ethel Richardson Wheeler. Mr. Wheeler was a Rocket Propulsion Engineer with NASA and Korean Veteran serving in the Air Force. Survivors include his wife- Brooksie Lindsey Wheeler, 1 daughter- Yolanda Wheeler Duke, and 3 grandchildren- Justin, Katie and Olivia Duke.
