Henry Joey Walker, 61, died Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the Russellville Hospital. He was born in Iuka, MS and worked at Tiffin Motor Homes. He was a member of New Mt. Carmel Church, Hodges, AL.
Services will be Saturday, June 29, 4 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Hodges, AL with Bro. Tony Wood and Bro. Dwayne Satterwhite officiating. Burial will be Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, Hodges, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-two and one-half years – Keri Walker, Hodges, AL; two sons – Henry Joshua Walker and Henry Aaron Walker; one sister – Evelyn Engle (Thurl) Hodges, AL; sisters-in-law – Debbie Sargent (Dave) Ocala, FL, Cheryl Scofield,, Ocoee, FL; brother-in-law – Doug Keller (Jodi) Ocoee, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar F. and Cherry Faye Wilson Walker.
Pallbearers will be Austin Oliver, Cody Colburn, Anthony Lovett, Shane Lovett, Koty McCarley and Ronnie Palmer.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 29, 2-4 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
