Ruthie was born in Columbia, Tennessee to the late Eugene and Christine Warren Culberson on February 8, 1937. She was of the Christian faith and loved attending church and gospel singings. WXRQ was her favorite radio station. She was always ready to go somewhere.
She is survived by her children: Mark and Ronnie Garrard; Connie (Dennis) Waldrop; Melissa (Joel) Lewis; Lorinda (Tommy) Adams; Lucinda (Willie) Brown; stepchildren: David (Shelly) Wiley and Glenda (Randall) Smith; grandchildren: Jillian Garrard, Jamie (Delon) Lee, Joseph Lewis, Ashley Lewis, Justin Marshall, Bryan Adams and Brittney Adams; great-grandchildren: Zoe and Gia Lee, Wyatt Lewis, Lesley Landcaster, Landon Lewis and Leona Marshall; and brother: Fowler Culberson. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband: Everett Junior Wiley; son: Jerry Garrard; daughter: Vickie Brady; brother: Gene Culberson; and sister: Sarah Culberson.
Family will visit with friends on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home, Columbia. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Polk Memorial Gardens at 10:00 AM with Tommy Culberson officiating.
