William Howard Blackburn, 74, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at ECM Hospital, Florence, Al. He was born February 11, 1938 in Franklin County, Al. and was a heavy equipment operator.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 1, at Halltown Cemetery, Vina, Al. with Bro. Billy Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery, Vina, Al. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al. will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are two daughters – Donna Blackburn, Tuscaloosa, Al. and Tammy Blackburn, Orlando, Fl.; one sister – Ellouise Hellums, Vina, Al. and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curren Agusta Blackburn and Mildred Mitchell Blackburn, two sisters, Louise Frederick (Freddie) and Letha Hellums (Jack) and one brother, Roy Blackburn.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Hellums, Mike Hellums, Carl Blackburn, Dewayne Hellums, Troy Franklin and W.C. Sparks.
Visitation will be 12-1:30 p.m. Thursday, November 1, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al.
