Dwight Donald Johnson, 57, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born July 14, 1961, in Guin, Alabama, to Donald Ray and Wanda Sue Strickland Johnson. He worked for F.L. Crane and Sons for 30 years and was a member of Boguefala Baptist Church. He served in the National Guard. He was a people person who enjoyed playing golf and dearly loved his grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at the Boguefala Baptist Church in Mooreville with Bro. David Perry, Bro. Royce Hawkins, and Bro. Kenneth McKinney officiating. Burial will be in the Boguefala Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Cindy Johnson; his daughter, Shea Wilemon; his grandchildren, Wyatt Beasley and Wesson Wilemon; a special great-niece, Finley Adams; one brother, Ronald Johnson of Fulton; one step-brother, George Jordan (Teresa), all of Fulton; two brothers-in-law, Ray McCollum (Nancy) and Wayne McCollum (Lisa); one sister-in-law, Nita Spencer; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Don R. Johnson (Ruth); his mother, Wanda Strickland Kinsey (Bill); one sister, Loretta Johnson; two brothers-in-law, Chris McCollum and Chris Spencer; one niece, Shane West; and his grandparents, Andy and Arie Gann Johnson and Carlie and Ollis Godsey Strickland.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Adams, Dnany Graham, Rhudy Gates, Keith Blaylock, Billy Roberson, Dwayne Johnson, Chip Ramey, and Gary Scott.

Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Fulton Golf Association and Wyatt Beasley, Wesson Wilemon, and Finley Adams.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton and from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday, June 27, at Boguefala Baptist Church in Mooreville.
