ATHENS-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency on Tuesday, June 25 released the name of the person driving the 2005 Chevrolet Silverado that was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Saturday, June 22.
Timothy Brian Fairbanks, 48 of Rogersville died after the 2005 Chevrolet Silverado Fairbanks was driving left the roadway on Elk River Mills Road and struck an embankment. The vehicle caught fire and Fairbanks was pronounced dead at the scene.
. The crash occurred 9 miles west of Athens, and nothing further is available as ALEA State Troopers continue to investigate.
