FLORENCE – Tuesday, June 25th, the Cypress Creek Canoe & Kayak Access Area parking lot will be closed until further notice so that current construction may be completed. Closing the area for construction is necessary due to multiple destructive incidents that have occurred during the construction phase. The goal is to open back up to the public as soon as possible.
We are looking forward to the completion of our newest water access that gives our community even more ways to enjoy our beautiful waterways!

This parking area being closed on this holiday weekend with no construction going on is ridiculous. If tax dollars are helping pay for this parking, it shouldn’t be closed to the public.
