Mr. Anthony Wayne Shockley, 61, a Van Buren County native and Spencer resident passed away Saturday June 22, 2019 from an accident. He was born January 22, 1958 to the late Loyd Shockley and Barbara Moody Shockley who survives. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and worked in manufacturing.
Besides his father he was preceded in death by; paternal grandparents; Charlie Lee and Cleo Wilson Shockley, maternal grandparents; Earl and Effie Hale Moody, niece; Charity Deann Delon, brother-in-law; Darrell Walling.
He is survived by daughter; Ashley Shockley of Lexington, KY, mother; Barbara Moody Shockley of Spencer, sisters; Deborah Walling and Tiny (Charlie) Plemons of Spencer. A Large extended family also survive.
Funeral services will be Wednesday June 26, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Layne Chapel with Bro. Wayne Sullivan officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and Wednesday 11:00am till time of service. Burial will follow in the Crain Hill Cemetery.
