Charlotte Cockrell, 67, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at her home. She was born March 12, 1952, to Leburn and Nellie Faye Johnson Orear. She worked as a lab and x-ray technician for the Itawamba County Hospital and Fulton Family Medical Center before becoming disabled. She was a devout Christian and an active member of Ozark Baptist Church. She was a member of the Houston Community Pilot Club and the Itawamba Christian Women. She enjoyed crocheting and loved supporting and being with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. James Young, Bro. Dempsey Rowland, and Bro. Bill Adams officiating. Burial will be in the Stephens Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Donnie Cockrell; her children, Bradley Smith (Ramona), Michelle Allred (Steve), Shannon Harbin, Sonya Johnson (Delton), and Tonya Foster (Chris), all of Mantachie; 16 grandchildren, Corey Smith (Tori); Lonnie Smith (Rio); Joseph Smith; Ashley, Jessica, Reed, and Chloe Allred; Michael, Brittney, Caid, and Olivia Harbin; Luke and Bryson Johnson; Annsleigh Justice; and Brooklyn and John Colin Foster; 9 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Margie Grissom and Joy McClain (Buddy), both of Golden.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Colin Cockrell; and her in-laws, Bonnie and Olene Spradling Cockrell.

Pallbearers will be Shane Marcy, Danny Marcy, Luke Johnson, Corey Smith, Lonnie Smith, Michael Harbin, Caid Harbin, and Reed Allred.

Honorary pallbearers John Colin Foster, Bryson Johnson, and Joseph Smith.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
