Tony Dale Terry, 58, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019, at his home. He was born June 5, 1961 to the late Thaddeus Terry Jr. and Marilyn Terry in Calhoun City. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Tony attended and graduated from Calhoun City High School. After high school, he enlisted in the Army National Guard. He then attended ICC where he received his paramedics license. He went on to work for NMMC for 24 years. Throughout his life, Tony was involved with law enforcement, which was his true love. During his career, he worked with the Tupelo and Derma Police Departments, as well as the Calhoun County and Itawamba County Sheriffs Departments. Tony finished his law enforcement career as the Police Chief of Tremont.

Services will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday June 19, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. CD Curry and Bro. Jeff Lintz officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday June 18, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home.

Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Tony is survived by his wife, Terri Rosanne Terry of Tremont, son, Nathan Dale Terry of West Point, step daughter, Krista (Blain) Evans of Fairview, step son, Tyler DeLancy of Tremont, mother, Marilyn Terry Cowsert of New Albany, 2 Sisters, Deborah Smith of Pontotoc, Treva Terry of Goresprings, MS, aunt, Claudine Terry of Pontotoc, grandchildren, Logan Mullins,Bentley Ehler, Cali Evans, and Judson DeLancey, father and mother in law, John and Sandra Wilson of Tremont, 2 sister in laws, Tammy (Chico) Holland, and Candy (Michael) Robinson, both of Tremont, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thaddeus Terry, Jr., and a sister, Susan Terry,

Pallbearers will be Tommy Montgomery, Scott Smith, Nick Brown, Vern Caygle, Jerry Mabus, and Eric Green.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mitch Williams, Michael Robinson, and Chico Holland.
