Jackie Fay Fowler, 82, died Sunday, June 16, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Franklin County, AL and was a supervisor at Aeros Instruments. She attended South Hamilton Baptist Church, Hamilton, AL.
Services will be Thursday, June 20, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two children – Wanda Taylor (Raymond) Hamilton, AL and Lisa Fowler Reid (Eric) Northport, AL; five grandchildren – Bobby Taylor, Tina Turner, Michael Taylor, Britney Lockhart (Tim) and James Nix; eleven great-grandchildren – Zach Turner, Jaden Turner, Drake Taylor, Cassie Taylor, Cade Taylor, Savannah Taylor, Sarah Taylor, Noah Taylor, Mischa Taylor, Emmie McCullar and Taylor George and two great-great-grandchildren – Nolan Taylor and Sawyer Madrie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert O’neal Fowler, her parents, Herman and Opal Hamm Hammock and three sisters, Jean Warren, Margie Plumley and Doris Kelley.
Pallbearers will be James Nix, Bobby Taylor, Timothy Lockhart and Raymond Taylor.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 20, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
